Ugandan shilling 1 article

Ugandan shilling is defined by Uganda national currency and UGX currency code, placing it within Bank of Uganda monetary system. Its exchange and settlement context is influenced by East African Community trade settlement and coffee export foreign exchange receipts, while Kampala financial system connects the currency to trade, payments or financial flows beyond everyday domestic use. The currency is therefore best understood through its issuing framework, economic base and regional relationships rather than as an isolated foreign-exchange instrument.
