Urbanisation 2 articles

A clear reading of Urbanisation starts with the growth and transformation of cities and metropolitan areas. The most important recurring dimensions are housing, planning, informal settlements, municipal services, transport, land use, city finance and the rise of secondary cities. It differs from Migration because the emphasis instead falls on concentrating on how urban systems change as populations concentrate in cities rather than movement itself.
