Central Bank of Nigeria 1 article

Nigeria's monetary and banking framework is overseen by the Central Bank of Nigeria, issuer of the naira and supervisor of the country's banking system. Its responsibilities include monetary policy, foreign-exchange management and payment-system oversight in an economy where oil-export receipts have an important bearing on currency flows. The institution also sits at the centre of financial-stability policy across one of Africa's largest banking markets.
